The most meaningful volunteer experience

    The volunteering spirit has spread quickly among students in recent years, and one of my most meaningful volunteer experiences was joining in the activity of giving away cups of “love porridge” beside the street.

    It was a cold winter morning. We volunteers worked together to put the hot porridge into different cups so that the cleaners could take them conveniently. The cleaners quickly had the porridge and then went back to work with both warm stomachs and hearts. Seeing the big smiles on their faces, I felt so proud that our volunteer work helped people in need.

    Since then I have made a decision to keep on volunteering and spreading warmth as much as possible.
