错答:who / which / that
正确:is
错答:are / were
错因: the only one of +复数名词 +定语从句 ,从句修饰the only one,主语为单数;区别:one of +复数名词 who are(修饰后面复数名词),这个是高考主谓一致经典陷阱。
错题4
正确:Seeing
错答:Seen / To see / Saw
正确:that
错答:when / which
It was/is not until…that…。
正确:their
错答:them / theirs
错答:who / whom

How to Stay Mentally Strong During Hard Times
Life is filled with unexpected challenges. Mental strength does not mean you never feel upset. 1 Here are practical ways to build your mental strength.

Set small daily goals. Big life goals can seem frightening when you are in difficulty. 4 Small wins build confidence step by step. Every small effort counts.
Refuse to give up self‑care. When trouble comes, people often give up sleep, exercise or social contact. 5 You cannot keep fighting if your body and mind are worn out.

- 叙事文本:抓人物、事件、情感变化;

When young Matt went hiking alone as a teenager, he once got stuck in heavy rain on a hillside. Without proper equipment, he suffered a cold and spent a terrible night outdoors. That experience did not stop him loving nature. Instead, it pushed him to learn more about outdoor safety. Later he began to share practical safety tips for teenagers online. He hoped other young people would avoid the risk he had met.
1. What can we learn about Matt from paragraph 1?
A. He gave up hiking after the terrible rain.
B. His bad experience inspired him to share safety advice.
C. He was badly hurt during the hiking in the rain.
D. He hated outdoor activities from then on.
Nowadays many teenagers enjoy short‑video platforms. Supporters believe short‑videos offer rich learning resources. However critics point out that plenty of short videos are designed to attract attention rather than spread real knowledge. Teenagers may form shallow reading habits if they spend too much time on such content. It is not short‑video itself that is good or bad; the key lies in users’ self‑control.
2. What is the author’s attitude towards short‑videos?
A. Fully supportive
B. Strongly against
C. Objective
D. Doubtful
Researchers carried out a study on memory. They found that proper short breaks during learning can improve long‑term memory performance. When our brain receives information, it needs time to process and store it. Continuous study without rest reduces learning efficiency. Yet too long breaks will also break thinking continuity.
3. What is the finding of the research?
A. We should study all the time without any break.
B. Suitable short breaks benefit long‑term memory.
C. Long breaks produce better study results.
D. Memory cannot be improved by any method.
