Give New Life to Old Things
Last summer, I decided to give new life to my old jeans. They were torn and looked useless, but I didn’t want to throw them away. Inspired by Jackie Chan’s words that “we should care for what we have,” I picked up my needle and thread.
I cut off the damaged parts and sewed colorful patches onto them. Though I pricked my finger several times, I kept trying. Finally, the jeans became a unique bag! I gave it to my cousin as a birthday gift. She loved it and used it every day.
This experience taught me that creativity can turn waste into treasure. Just like solving a crime needs patience, repairing things requires effort too. Now I always think twice before throwing things away. Small actions can make a big difference!
赋予旧物新生
去年夏天，我决定给我的旧牛仔裤赋予新的生命（Give new life to old things）。它们又破又旧，看起来毫无用处，但我不想把它们扔掉。受成龙所说“我们要珍惜所拥有的东西”这句话的启发，我拿起了针线。
我剪掉了破损的部分，并在上面缝上了五颜六色的补丁。虽然我的手指被扎了好几次，但我坚持尝试。最终，那条裤子变成了一个独特的包！我把它作为生日礼物送给了我的表妹。她非常喜欢，每天都背着它。
这次经历教会了我，创造力可以把废物变成宝藏。就像破案需要耐心一样，修复东西也需要努力。现在我扔东西之前总会三思。小小的行动也能带来巨大的改变！
