         The Word That Changed Me

   The word that changed me most is perseverance. I used to give up easily when I met hard things. Last term, I failed my English exam. I was very sad and wanted to stop reciting words and reading articles.

   My teacher talked with me patiently. She told me perseverance could beat any difficulty. From that day, I kept memorizing words and reading short passages every morning. As time went by, my English grades got betterlittle by little.

   Now I know troubles cannot beat me. Perseverancelightsmy way of growth and helps me become stronger all the time.

      对我改变最大的词是坚持。从前我遇到难事就轻易放弃。上学期我的英语考试失利，我十分难过，甚至打算不再背单词、读短文。

      老师耐心开导我，她说坚持可以战胜一切困难。从那天起，我每天早上坚持背单词、读小短文。随着时间推移，我的英语成绩一点点变好。

      如今我明白挫折打不倒我。坚持照亮我的成长道路，时刻让我变得更加坚强。
