中考连词常考:

一、并列连词(连接各类词和句子)

and （和）

but however （但是）

both…and (…和…)

either…or （或者…或者）

neither …nor （即不…也不）

not only…but also（不但…而且）

on the one hand, on the other hand（一方面，另一方面）

二、从属连词（接从句）

1.表原因 because,since,as, for

because (因为)直接原因

例:Tom didn't go to school because he was ill.

since（既然，由于）明显原因

例:Since you are tired, you can have a rest.

Since everyone is here, let's start.

as（由于）

例: As it rained, we didn't go out.

for(因为)补充说明

He must be ill ,for he didn't come to school.

2.表时间 when,while,as,as soon as,until,since

when(当……时)

Tom could wash his clothes when he was eight years old.

while (当……时)

My mother was cooking while my father was reading.

as （当……时）

As time goes by, everyone will change.

as soon as（一……就）

I will call you as soon as he comes back.

(not)…until（直到）

He didn't stop working until he finished his task.

since （自从）

I have lived here since I came here.

3.表让步 although，though

although 尽管，虽然

Although he is young,he knows a lot.

though

We will never give up though it is hard.

4.表条件 if，unless ，as long as

if (如果)

If you work hard, everything is possible.

unless(如果不，除非)

You will fail unless you work hard.

as long as(只要)

Friends are like books,you don't need a lot of them as long as they are good.

5.表方式 as

as如同,与…一样

Do as I told you.

6.表目的 so that

He got up early so that he could catch the first bus.

7.表结果 so, so…that

He was ill ,so he didn't go to school.(所以)

She works so hard that she makes big progress.(如此…以至于)

三、连词一词多义

as 作为，和…一样，因为，当…时，如同

例如:

Lu Xun is famous as a writer.（作为）

He is as tall as me.（和…一样）

He has the same age as me.（和…一样）

As it is dark，let's go home.（由于）

She sings as she walks.（当…时）

Do as I told you.（如同）

since 自从，由于

I have known her since we were children.（自从）

Since you are tired, let's stop here.（由于，既然）
