While researching a topic, a student has taken the following notes:
A nonnative species is considered invasive if it causes environmental or economic harm in an ecosystem.
Curly pondweed is a species of aquatic plant native to parts of Eurasia.
It can also be found in the northern and western US.
There, it crowds out native plants and impedes aquatic recreation.
It is considered an invasive species in the US.
The student wants to provide an example of an invasive species.
Which choice most effectively uses relevant information from the notes to accomplish this goal?
A. In the northern and western US, curly pondweed is an invasive aquatic plant that crowds out native plants and impedes aquatic recreation.
B. One way a nonnative species of plant could cause harm in an ecosystem is by crowding out native plants and impeding aquatic recreation.
C. A nonnative species that crowds out native plants and impedes aquatic recreation, causing environmental or economic harm, is considered invasive.
D. Curly pondweed is an example of an invasive species that causes environmental or economic harm in parts of Eurasia.
答案:A
As fundamental as the question may seem, biologists have failed to reach consensus on what a species is: some cite the biological species concept (Mayr 1942), while others adhere to the evolutionary species concept (Simpson 1961). _______ those supporting a pluralist approach—in place of a single, monistic concept—argue that a diversity of species concepts fits their equally diverse applications within the discipline.
Which choice completes the text with the most logical translation?
A. However, some scholars posit that, outside the human desire to name things, species don't exist;
B. Accordingly, many biologists seek to find a universal species concept;
C. Indeed, this definitional stalemate is widely known as the species problem:
D. Counterintuitively, this lack of agreement may not be without its virtues;
While researching a topic, a student has taken the following notes:
The A.M. Turing Award is a prestigious award given by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
The ACM gives the award for "major contributions of lasting importance to computing."
It is named after groundbreaking British mathematician Alan Turing.
Amir Pnueli won the award in 1996 for seminal work introducing temporal logic into computing science.
The student wants to explain whom the award is named for.
Which choice most effectively uses relevant information from the notes to accomplish this goal?
A. The A.M. Turing Award is given for "major contributions of lasting importance to computing."
B. In 1996, Amir Pnueli won the A.M. Turing Award for seminal work introducing temporal logic into computing science.
C. It was in 1996 that Amir Pnueli won the A.M. Turing Award.
D. The A.M. Turing Award is named for groundbreaking British mathematician Alan Turing.
Algebra部分考察常规,注意计算类细节问题;
垂直斜率为负倒数问题;新题为5条线找2条平行线;分数计算问题(11/5-a=-3/4);分步求解斜率问题;不等式问题,问哪个点满足所有方程;零件个数问题,不同类型的零件个数总和;
Problemsolving and data analysis部分出题稳定,相较于亚太考卷,北美考卷Statistic部分比重较大;
Advanced math难题集中但考察难度和往常一样,提问方式更为灵活,二次函数依旧是考试重点;

Geometry,难度提升明显,M2部分几何占比提升,原题出现较多;
