The most striking shift occurred in Adelaide: Jetstar’s fare surged to AU$640, surpassing both Qantas (AU$600) and Virgin (AU$550) to become the most expensive option for this route. For the other three cities, however, Jetstar remained the least expensive, with fares between AU$460 (Brisbane) and AU$520 (Sydney).
