一、今天的单词
wear /wer/ v. 穿着；戴着
dress /dres/ v. 给……穿衣服；穿衣 n. 连衣裙

二、单词讲解
1. wear：穿着；戴着
wear 强调穿戴的状态，后面直接接衣服、鞋帽、眼镜等。
如：She wears glasses and a blue jacket. 她戴着眼镜，穿着一件蓝色夹克。

如果要强调“穿上”这个动作，则常用 put on。
比较：
put on a coat：穿上外套
wear a coat：穿着外套
如：It’s cold outside. Put on your coat. 外面很冷，穿上外套吧。

wear 的过去式是 wore，过去分词是 worn。

2. dress：给某人穿衣服
dress 作动词时，后面通常接人，而不是衣服。
如：The mother dressed her little son. 妈妈给小儿子穿好了衣服。

注意区别：
wear a red dress：穿着一条红色连衣裙
dress a child：给孩子穿衣服
前一句的 dress 是名词，后一句是动词。

3. get dressed：穿好衣服
dress 还有一个非常常用的搭配：get dressed，表示“穿好衣服”。
如：I get dressed at seven every morning. 我每天早上七点穿好衣服。
这里的 dressed 是过去分词形式，作形容词使用。

还可以用 be dressed in 表示穿着某种衣服。
如：She was dressed in white. 她穿着白色衣服。
