Part A Reading aloud
Against the cliffs on Mount Heng, an ancient temple is seemingly suspended in mid-air, a remarkable structure known as the Hanging Temple. With its distinct blend of danger, innovation and elegance, the Hanging Temple stands out as a unique masterpiece among the world’s cliffside structures. Rooted in solid stone with slender wooden supports, its pavilions seem to grow organically from the cliff itself. Despite braving the elements for centuries above a deep valley, the temple has remained silently yet firmly fixed to the cliffside. Visitors from all over the world are drawn here to applaud its architectural wonder.
Part B Role Play (角色扮演)
M: Hello Mary! do you have any plan for tomorrow?
W: Yes, I’m going to the airport to see of my English friend Lucy tomorrow. My family is hosting her now.
M: I see, she must be an old friend of yours.
W: Well, I only got to know her recently from a host family program. She was assigned to my family.
M: How’s she getting along with your family?
W: Very well. Lucy has been staying with my family for 10 days. It’s not a long time, but my parents already take her as another daughter now.
三问
Can your parents speak English?
Just a little. Whenever they talked with Lucy, I would translate for them. When I wasn’t available, My parents used simple English and even body language to communicate with her. Five days ago, we went on a road trip. My parents bought two translation devices for the trip, one for themselves and the other for Lucy. So I wasn’t the only translator on the trip.
Where is your trip’s destination?/What is the destination of your trip?
My parents hometown. We attended a wedding there. Lucy was curious and kept asking questions. My parents explained patiently. What impressed Lucy most was the grand wedding dinner. She thought that attending the wedding was a wonderful experience of Chinese culture. We wished we could have stayed longer at the wedding, but we left early because we had arranged an activity for the next day.
What activities did you participate in/take part in?
A tea tasting activity. You know, my parents hometown is famous for black tea. There are many tea gardens. In order to show Lucy the Chinese tea culture, I booked an two-hour tea tasting session in one of the tea gardens. We got dressed in traditional clothes for the session. With traditional Chinese music in the background, we enjoyed fine tea from beautiful cups. It made our day.

Part C Retelling (故事复述)
Thank-you Note
    Mary lived far from her workplace. Each day she got up early and went to work by train. One day, she got on the train. As usual, she closed her eyes and tried to get some sleep. When she was almost asleep, she had some noise coming nearer and nearer. It was from a boy who was talking loudly to his mom. Clearly, they just got on board. Then Mary had them take their seats right behind her. The boy kept talking in a loud voice. Mary felt a bit disturbed. She turned around, gave some candies to the boy and asked him to lower his voice. Immediately he stopped talking. Mary tried again to get some sleep. Minutes later, she heard the boy asking his mom how to write a thank-you note in a lower voice. Mary realized that it was impossible to get any sleep, so she took out her notebook and started working. While she was busy with her work, a note was handed to her. It was from the boy behind. The note read, “Thank you for your kindness!” Mary was amused. She turned around, this time with a smile. She said to the boy, “Thank you for your thank-you note.”

Version Two:
    Mary’s home was far from her workplace, so every day she got up early and went to work by train. One day she got on the train as usual. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep. Just as she was almost asleep, she noticed some noise coming closer and closer. It came from a boy who was talking loudly to his mother. They had clearly just boarded the train. Then Mary had them sit down right behind her. The boy continued talking in a loud voice, which made Mary a little disturbed. She turned around, gave some candies to him and told him to lower his voice. He stopped at once. Mary tried to get some rest again, but a few minutes later, she heard the boy asking his mom, more quietly, how to write a thank-you note. Mary knew she wouldn't be able to sleep, so she took out her notebook and began to work. While she was busy working, a note was passed to her. It came from the boy behind, and on it were the words, “Thank you for your kindness!” Mary found it amusing. She turned around, smiling this time, and said, “Thank you for your thank-you note.”

With its distinct blend of danger, innovation and elegance, / the Hanging Temple / stands out as a unique masterpiece / among the world’s cliffside structures.

✅Part B

(What/Where/How long/Can 一般疑问句),时态匹配。

例题:Can your parents speak English? / Where is your trip’s destination? / What activities did you take part in?

     2. 考点2:信息预判,听前根据中文提示预判疑问词;

     3. 考点3:句子完整性,必须完整问句,不能只写短语;注意语序,不要写成陈述句语序。

      易错:助动词did漏写、语序颠倒。

      五答(听电脑回答,抓取信息作答)

    1.考点1:听力细节抓取:数字(10 days)、物品(two translation devices)、事件、地点;

      2. 考点2:时态一致性,对话是过去/现在完成混合时态,回答动词形式不能错;

      3. 考点3:简洁作答:可以简答,优先抓取名词短语,也可用完整句;尽量使用原文原词,减少自己改写带来的语法错误;

     4. 考点4:笔记速记:听到关键词缩写记录(时间、数字、名词)。

       本题关键信息点:

      Lucy停留时长10 days;parents买了two translation devices;印象最深grand wedding dinner;booked two-hour tea tasting session

✅Part C

    Who: Mary & a little boy;Where: on the train

    3. 逻辑连接词:then, when, immediately, while, so, but,串联情节,保证流畅度

1:Part A

2:Part B

    ◦ How long …? / What did …? / Where is …? / Can …?

3:Part C
