In a word，The family dinner on Spring Festival Eve is a Chinese tradition that we have kept for thousands of years.It isn't just a meal ,it is happiness for the family and hope for the coming new year.

Different countries have different cultures and living habits. It’s very important for us to learn how to be polite when we talk with people from other countries.

First, we need to respect local traditions and learn some basic polite rules. For example, we should know the right way to greet others and follow good table manners. In China, we usually shake hands when we meet. But in some Western countries, people like to hug each other instead.

Second, we should care about our words and body language. Some gestures may be okay in our country, but they may make others uncomfortable in foreign countries. For example, it’s rude to point at others with your fingers in most places around the world.

When we travel abroad, we should learn from local people and do what they do.If we understand and respect the differences between cultures, we can talk with others easily and make more foreign friends.Just remember the old saying, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do”. Always be friendly, and you will get along well with local people.

I' m Li Hua. I really want to join in the activity "Tell Chinese Stories in English" .I am 14 years old. I am interested in Chinese traditional stories and I am good at spoken English. I can communicate with others in English freely.

How to do well in our studies？We had a hot discussion about how to be a good learner.There are many suggestions. 

First，we should listen carefully and take notes in class.Taking notes is important for reviewing our lessons.Next，do our homework carefully.Although some of us are tired of homework，it's still a good idea for us to do it.Of course，eating well is necessary for us.Meat，milk and vegetables are good for our health.So are fruits.Finally，we all agree that we had better go to bed early and have enough sleep.

In my opinion，we also have to be active in class.If we understand the lessons well in class，we'll spend less time studying after class.

The earth is our home.However，the environment around us is getting worse and worse.In some places we can't see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills.So what should we do to be a green person to protect the earth？Here is some advice.

We should reduce the waste we produce and save paper by using both sides of it.It's also important to collect waste paper and plastic bottles.We had better sort them so that they can be recycled.Besides，we'd better walk or ride a bike instead of taking a bus or a taxi.We can save energy and reduce air pollution by doing this.And take a cloth bag when shopping.What's more，it would be better to shut off the lights when we leave our home.Last but not least，never spit in public.

In fact，it's not difficult to be a green person.Let's start with ourselves.And let's call on others to be a green person.
