The news reports new exam rules from the Education Department on December 17th,2025. These changes aim to improve the learning experience for all students.
For students in Grades 1 and 2, there will be no more written exams on paper.Teachers will use fun games and class activities to check what they have learned.
For students from Grade 3 to 6, exams will also change. They will only take one final exam at the end of the school year.
For junior high students, there will still be mid-term and final exams. But the focus will be on their understanding, not just remembering facts. So students will think more deeply about what they learn.
The Department hopes these changes will lower stress and make learning more enjoyable. The goal is to help students love studying while also having time for their own interests. Everyone is enc ouraged to always do their best.
