二、结果状语从句的定义

在句子中作结果状语的从句称为结果状语从句，一般置于句尾。引导结果状语从句的从属连词主要有so…that…（如此…… 以至于……）、such...that...（如此…… 以至于……）、**so that（因此）** 等。

例句：

·He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him. 他跑得很快以至于我追不上他。

·It was such a hot day that we decided to go swimming. 那是如此炎热的一天，我们决定了去游泳。

三、结果状语从句核心句式结构

1. so + 形容词 / 副词 + that 从句

表达 “如此…… 以至于……”，that 引导结果状语从句。

例句：

·He was so tired that he fell asleep immediately. 他太困了以至于立马睡着了。

·She spoke so quickly that I couldn’t understand her. 她说得太快了以至于我没懂她的意思。

2. such (+ a/an) (+ 形容词) + 名词 + that 从句

表达 “如此…… 以至于……”，that 引导结果状语从句。

例句：

·It was such a beautiful day that we decided to go for a picnic. 那是很美好的一天，我们决定去野餐。

·They are such interesting novels that I want to read them again. 它们是如此有趣的小说，我还想再读一遍。

四、so 与 such 的难点突破

核心判断方法

看 so/such 后面紧跟的词性是形容词 / 副词，还是名词：

·形容词或副词 → 用 so

例：so tired, so quickly

·名词或名词短语 → 用 such

例：such a kind person, such delicious food

记忆口诀

形副前，请用 so；名短前，必选 such。

当名词前有 **many、much、few、little（表示 “少”）** 等词修饰时，应用 so 而不用 such。

例句：

1. so...that 与 such...that 的转换

（1）修饰单数可数名词时

互换公式：

such a/an (+ 形容词) + 单数名词 = so + 形容词 + a/an + 单数名词

例句：

He is so good a doctor that everyone respects him.

= He is such a good doctor that everyone respects him.

他是如此好的一位医生，大家都尊敬他。

（2）修饰复数名词或不可数名词时

需通过改变句子结构实现转换，也可使用 so 修饰表示 “多” 或 “少” 的词来实现转换：

例句：

·It was such bad weather that we stayed at home. 天气非常糟糕，以至于我们待在了家里。

= The weather was so bad that we stayed at home.

·They are such interesting books that I’ve read them all. 这些书非常有趣，以至于我把它们全读完了。

= There are so many interesting books that I’ve read them all.

2. 与 too...to...（太…… 而不能）结构的转换

·肯定句转换：

The box is too heavy for me to lift. 这个箱子太重了，我搬不动。

= The box is so heavy that I can’t lift it.

·否定句转换：

He is too wise not to see that. 他太聪明了，看到了那个。

= He is so wise that he can see that.

3. 与...enough to...（足够…… 以至于能）结构的转换

·肯定句转换：

She is old enough to go to school. 她足够大能上学了。

= She is so old that she can go to school.

·否定句转换：

He is not old enough to go to school. 他还不够年纪，不能上学。

= He is so young that he can’t go to school.

1. 从句缺少 that 的常见错误

·错误：The box was so heavy I couldn’t lift it.

·错误分析：句中有两个主谓结构：The box was heavy 和 I couldn’t lift it。它们之间只有一个逗号或什么都没有，缺少了关键的从属连词 that 来表明逻辑关系。

·正确：The box was so heavy that I couldn’t lift it.

2. so that 引导的结果状语从句

核心用法

1.表主句所述事实导致的实际结果，意为 “因此、所以”。

2.从句中没有情态动词，使用的是陈述语气（一般现在时、过去时等），描述一个已经发生或通常会发生的事实。

例句：

·He worked hard, so that he passed the exam. 他努力学习，因此通过了考试。
