②主语从句在句首(谓语动词前)，充当主语；用it作形式主语时，主语从句放在句尾。

A.That 引导主语从句。

如：That he can't cook makes me disappointed. 他不会做饭让我很失望。

It makes me disappointed that he can't cook. 他不会做饭让我很失望。

B.Whether 引导主语从句。If 不能引导主语从句。

如：Whether or not you learn it well depends on your learning habits.

你学得好不好取决于你的学习习惯。

C.疑问词引导主语从句。

如：Whathe saidmade me angry. 他的话使我很生气。

Wherehe will go nextis Hengshui. 他接下来要去的地方是衡水。

= It is Hengshui wherehe will go next.

③表语从句在系动词后，充当表语，由that或其它连接词引导。

如：The only problem was

that there was nothing much to do in the evening but read.

唯一的问题是晚上除了看书没有什么可做的。

That is what I want to tell you. 那就是我想要对你讲的。

The question is whetherhe will agree with the plan. 

问题是他是否会赞成这个计划。
