一、概念
状语从句在句中作状语，修饰动词、形容词、副词或整个句子，连词连接，陈述语序。
功能：相当于副词，修饰动词、形容词、整句
中考常考9大类：时间、原因、条件、让步、目的、结果、比较、方式、地点。
二、九大状语从句
1. 时间状语从句
常用连词：
when 当…时候；while 正当…时；as 一边…一边／随着／当…时候；
before 在…之前；after 在…之后；since 自从；
until/till 直到；as soon as 一…就；whenever 每当
必考考点
1. when：可接瞬间/延续动作；while只接延续性动词，常用进行时
2. until：not…until… 直到……才……（中考高频）
3. as soon as 一……就……，主将从现
例句：I will tell him as soon as he comes.
2. 原因状语从句
连词：because, since, as
- because：直接因果，语气最强，回答why
- since既然 / 由于（已知、显而易见的原因)
例句:Since you are tired, you can go to bed early.
既然你累了，可以早点睡。
-as：由于／鉴于，已知理由（语气比because 弱，放句首多）
例句:As it is raining, we can't go out.
由于在下雨，我们不能出去。
口诀：why问用because，已知理由since/as
3. 条件状语从句
连词：if 如果；unless 除非；as long as 只要
核心规则：主将从现
主句将来时/祈使句，从句用一般现在时
例句：You will fail unless you work hard.
4. 让步状语从句（中考超级高频）
连词：though/although 虽然，尽管；even if/even though 即使
必考禁忌：though/although 不能和 but 连用，二选一
错：Although he is tired, but he works on.
对：Although he is tired, he works on.
5. 目的状语从句
连词：so that 以便，为了；in order that 为了
从句常带 can/may/will/could
例句：He studies hard so that he can go to college.
6. 结果状语从句
句型必考：
1. so + 形容词/副词 + that… 如此…以至于…
2. such + (a/an) + 名词 + that… 如此…以至于…
例句：He is so tired that he can’t walk.
7. 比较状语从句
连词：than 比；as…as 和…一样；not as/so…as 不如…
例句:She is as careful as her sister is.
她和她姐姐一样细心。
8. 方式状语从句
连词：as 按照，正如
例句:Do as I tell you. 照我说的做。
9. 地点状语从句
连词：where 在…地方
例句:Put the book where it was.
三、中考黄金必考规则（必背）
1. 主将从现
时间/条件状语从句：主句将来，从句一般现在时
标志：if, as soon as, when, until, unless
2. 从句永远陈述语序，不用疑问语序
3. although≠but 不能连用
4. while 后接进行时/延续动词
5. not…until… 直到……才…… 完形单选必考
