阅读下面短文，从方框中选择适当的单词并用其适当形式填空，使短文意思完整。每个选项只用一次，有两项剩余。

Wilma was a lively child who always wanted to play outside. The only problem was that she got sick. When Wilma was five, she caught polio(脊髓灰质炎). And her left leg and 1.______ were badly weakened because of the illness.
