I’m a wildlife filmmaker. My job is to document rare and endangered species, and to tell their stories in a way that inspires people to care about conservation. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and I’ve traveled to some of the most remote and beautiful places on Earth.

One of the most memorable experiences of my career was filming a family of snow leopards in the Himalayas. Snow leopards are extremely elusive (难以捉摸的) animals, and they live in some of the harshest environments on the planet. I spent three months living in a small tent, waiting and watching, hoping to get even a glimpse of these magnificent cats.

Finally, after weeks of patience, I saw a mother snow leopard and her two cubs (幼崽). It was a breathtaking moment. I slowly raised my camera and began filming. The mother was hunting, and the cubs were playing nearby. I filmed them for hours, capturing every detail of their behavior.

Filming snow leopards was not easy. The conditions were harsh — cold, windy, and often snowy. I had to be extremely patient and persistent. But it was worth it. The footage I got was used in a documentary that aired on national television, and it helped raise awareness about the plight of snow leopards and the importance of protecting their habitat.

As a wildlife filmmaker, I feel a great responsibility to protect the animals I film. I hope that my work can make a difference, and that future generations will be able to enjoy the beauty of these animals in the wild.

In the age of digital media, people are reading fewer physical books. However, books are still an important part of our culture, and they continue to inspire artists in many ways. Many artists use books as a source of inspiration, while others use them as the raw material for their artworks — transforming covers, pages or even complete volumes into paintings and sculptures.

An exhibition titled “Books in Art” at the City Museum features over 50 artworks from around the world, all of which are related to books and reading. The artworks include paintings, sculptures, installations and photographs, and they explore the many different roles that books play in our lives.

Some of the artworks in the exhibition depict people reading in different settings — at home, in the library, or in the park. These works show that reading is a universal activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds. Other artworks focus on the physical beauty of books — their covers, pages, and fonts. These works celebrate the book as an object of art in its own right.

The exhibition also includes artworks that explore the relationship between books and technology. In one installation, a series of e-readers are displayed alongside traditional books, highlighting the differences between digital and physical reading experiences. Another artwork features a painting of a book with its pages turning into digital code, symbolizing the transformation of books in the digital age.

“Books in Art” is a fascinating exhibition that offers a new perspective on the role of books in our society. It shows that books are not just a source of information, but also a source of inspiration and beauty. The exhibition will be on display at the City Museum until the end of the month.

We all have days when we feel down, stressed, or overwhelmed. While it’s normal to experience these emotions, it’s important to know how to deal with them effectively. One simple and effective way to improve your mood and reduce stress is to spend time in nature.

Studies have shown that spending time in nature can have a positive effect on both our physical and mental health. Being in nature can lower blood pressure, reduce heart rate, and decrease levels of stress hormones such as cortisol. It can also improve our mood, increase our energy levels, and enhance our ability to focus and concentrate.

One of the reasons why nature is so beneficial is that it allows us to disconnect from the digital world and the constant pressure of modern life. When we’re in nature, we’re not surrounded by screens, notifications, and deadlines. Instead, we’re able to slow down, relax, and focus on the present moment. We can listen to the birds singing, feel the sun on our skin, and breathe in the fresh air.

Another reason why nature is beneficial is that it provides us with a sense of awe and wonder. When we’re surrounded by the beauty of nature — whether it’s a majestic mountain, a peaceful forest, or a calm lake — we’re reminded of how small we are and how vast and wonderful the world is. This sense of awe can help us put our problems into perspective and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.

You don’t need to spend hours in nature to experience its benefits. Even a short walk in the park, a hike in the woods, or simply sitting in a garden can make a difference. So the next time you’re feeling stressed or down, take a break and spend some time in nature. Your mind and body will thank you.

32. What is the text mainly about?

A. The benefits of spending time in nature.

B. The ways to deal with stress and anxiety.

C. The influence of modern life on mental health.

D. The importance of connecting with nature.

33. What does the underlined word “it” in paragraph 2 refer to?

A. Lowering blood pressure.

B. Reducing heart rate.

C. Spending time in nature.

D. Decreasing stress hormones.

34. Why does nature help people reduce stress according to paragraph 3?

A. It makes people forget their problems.

B. It allows people to relax and focus on the present.

C. It provides people with a quiet environment.

D. It helps people realize the beauty of life.

35. What does the author suggest people do to improve their mood?

A. Take a break from work.

B. Do some exercise regularly.

C. Spend time in nature.

D. Listen to some soft music.
