Dear Mr. Yang,

I'm excited to hear that our school will hold the activity "Telling Chinese Stories in English." I am very enthusiastic about this event and would love to be a part of it.

Let me introduce myself. I'm Li Hua, a 14-year-old boy from Class One, Grade Eight. I'm outgoing and love reading. I've read many classics about Chinese history, so I'm quite familiar with our culture. I also know lots of traditional folk stories, such as How Yi Shoots the Suns and Yu Gong Moves the Mountain. I can even tell them in English.

This activity is meaningful. It can help us develop an interest in learning English and improve our spoken English. As a Chinese student, it's our duty to share our history and culture with more people. I'm proud to do that!
