Learning to Wait
In our instant-gratification world, I learned patience from an unlikely teacher—a caterpillar.

Last spring, a class project required observing an insect's life cycle.

I chose a swallowtail caterpillar, naming it "Patience."

For days, it ate leaves, growing slowly.
