月考刚出分，期中的日子也定了：11 月 10—11 日，浙江省初中名校发展共同体联考。
从今天算，还有 24 天。
英语范围，也从月考的 Unit 1—3，扩到了 Unit 1—5。
而作文——从来都是这 24 天里，最划算的一项。
有句话好多家长不爱听，但我还是要说：
期中作文，就考 4 类。押题没意义，把结构背熟才叫稳。
一、期中作文，重点看这 4 类
一张表，看完。
二、4 类各给一套骨架，背这一套就够
① 变化类（Unit 1）：过去和现在，一对比就有分
作文题
《How I Have Changed》《Changes in My Hometown》
万能开头
Great changes have taken place in my hometown over the past few years.
Significant changes have taken place in me over the past years.
中间：一句过去，一句现在
There used to be narrow streets and dirty rivers in my hometown, but now the streets are wider and the rivers are cleaner.
I used to be shy and didn't dare to speak in public. But now I'm much more outgoing than before.
In the past, I was a lazy learner with bad learning habits. I used to delay my homework until the last minute. But now I have learnt to make study plans.
点出最重要的那个变化
The biggest change is that I have become more confident.
收尾
In a word, these changes have shaped a better me.
重点：used to 后面跟动词原形——是 I used to be shy，不是 I used to was shy。另外，现在完成时强调“对现在还有影响”，一般过去时只说“过去发生过”；这两个时态分不清，整篇的时态都会跟着乱。
② 励志人物（Unit 2）：定语从句，一句话就加长
作文题
《An Inspiring Person I Admire》《The Person Who Inspires Me Most》
万能开头
In my heart , the person who inspires me most is Yuan Longping , one of the greatest scientists in China.
袁隆平素材段（一段通吃）
Yuan Longping is a great scientist who is known as the "Father of Hybrid Rice". He devoted his whole life to developing hybrid rice and helped feed millions of people. What inspires me most is that he never gave up, even after failing many times.
结尾落到“对我的影响”
He is a person who always puts others first, and he teaches me to work hard for my dream.
冲高分再加一句（倒装）
Not only did he work hard, but he also helped others.
提醒：定语从句里 who 指人，that 指人指物都行；但别一句话里连挂两个 who，读起来就散了。人物类的分数，一半在“品质词”上——hard-working、brave、generous、never gives up。
③ 建议信（Unit 3）：by doing 是命根子
作文题
《给朋友的学习建议》《How to Be a Good Learner》
开头（听懂烦恼 + 表态）
I'm sorry to hear that you have trouble in learning English. As we know, it's important for us to learn it well.
3 条建议（把 by doing 全塞进来）
You can improve your speaking by talking with friends in English.
Try to learn new words by reading more English stories.
It is also a significant method to improve your spoken English by repeating dialogues from English films.
Don't be afraid of making mistakes—the more you speak, the fewer mistakes you'll make.
结尾（鼓劲）
Nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.
记住：建议信不是比谁的词高级，是比谁的建议“数得出来”。3 条，一条一个 by doing。
④ 记忆方法（Unit 4）：说明文，抓结构 + 从句

《How to Improve Your Memory》《My Ways of Learning New Words》
开头设问（引出话题）
Do you know why we always forget new words so quickly? Scientists say that our memory works better when we review things at the right time.
2—3 条方法
First, review a new word on the first day, the third day and the seventh day. If you do this, you will keep it much longer.
Second, use the words by making sentences or writing a short diary—memory needs to be used, not just read.
Thrid, use it or lose it. The more you review what you learn, the more likely you will remember it.
小结
In a word, a good memory is not a gift—it is a habit.
提醒两条：① 宾语从句用陈述语序——Do you know why we forget（对）／Do you know why do we forget（错）。② if 条件句“主将从现”：主句用 will，从句用一般现在时。
三、不背范文也能写：J爸的「回译 + 30 秒朗读」
很多家长问：范文背得滚瓜烂熟，怎么考试还是写不好？
我先说句实话——背十遍，不如默一遍。看得懂是幻觉，写得对才是分数。
但默写之前，得先让孩子“进得去”。
回译：把课文倒着走一遍
把课文译成中文（自己译，别抄教辅） 合上书，照着中文写英文 逐句对照原文，改到自己写的和原文一样
为什么管用？
因为“看懂课文”和“写出课文”之间，差着一整个语法的距离。回译就是把这个距离量出来。
每天 20 分钟，一段就够。这 4 类作文，正好对应课文里的 4 个单元。
30 秒朗读：读不顺，就先别背
一段话，读到 30 秒以内，再换下一段。
速度读不进 30 秒，说明卡壳的地方就是漏洞——那些词你不是不会，是“认识但不熟”。
与其把一段读 30 遍，不如把一段读到 30 秒以内。
四、最后算一笔账：24 天，别指望背完考纲
一个词，要在不同语境里见 6 遍，才勉强记住；要见 23 遍以上，才会用。
所以，别给孩子定“一周背完考纲词汇”的目标——那不是计划，那是给全家添焦虑。
24 天，够用的排法是这样：
（还有一句，我每次都要说：英语要抓，中文阅读不能停。 阅读理解的功夫，中英文是共通的——中文读不顺，英文阅读也难提上去。）
中文阅读是底盘，英语是加装件。底盘不稳，加装件也发挥不出来。 尤其很多英语高手，语法都没有问题了，但阅读还会错，深层次的问题更多是在语文上。
最后三句，记得截图
① 变化抓对比，人物抓品质，建议抓 by，记忆抓结构。
② 与其读 30 遍，不如速度提上去，读到 30 秒以内。
③ 背十遍，不如默一遍。
上次月考那期，U1—U3 的范文已经发过一轮了，这次不重复发；没领到的也别急，可以一起补。
剩下的 范文已经准备好了，中文翻译、句型表和默写练习都有。7 年级、8 年级的也在陆续整理。
