Kindness Corner: A Small House for Big Hearts

At No. 5 Middle School, a small wooden house stands beside the library. It has a red roof, a warm blanket and two bowls — one for food and one for water. Its residents are not students, but the three cats that have lived on campus for years.

The house, called "Kindness Corner", was built by the students of Class 3, Grade 8 last term. "We noticed the cats sleeping under the stairs on cold days," says project leader Gao Yuan.
