A panda,leased(租借) by China to South Korea seven years ago, gave birth to the first pair of baby pandas in the country on July 7,2023.
Ai Bao, 9 years old,gave birth to the twins,according to Everland,1 is South Korea's largest theme park. The elder and the younger baby pandas2 (weigh) 180 grams and 140 grams each. Their father is called Le Bao,10 years old. Everland said that Ai Bao and the twins remained3 good condition.4 (actual), South Korea saw the first birth of a baby panda,named Fu Bao,on its soil(领土) in July 2020.
The twins will not5 (show) to the public for the time being(暂时).6 usually takes five to six months for a baby panda to be able to get used to the outdoor environment. Everland said it will continue7 (share) pictures and videos of the baby pandas on its website.
The panda pair, Le Bao and Ai Bao,arrived in South Korea in March 2016 on a 15-year agreement. Everland built a 3,300-square-meter Panda World to raise the8 (endanger)species(物种).The panda species was in danger of dying out but won great9 (popular) for their lovely looks in the world. So far, about 14 million people10 (visit) the Panda World to see the panda family,according to Everland.
