非谓语动词——过去分词
D. 过去分词(done)表达完成或被动含义（不使用be动词）。过去分词可在使役动词或具有使役性质的动词后充当宾语补足语。分词短语可在名词后充当后置定语，过去分词（短语）还可充当状语。
a.过去分词充当宾语补足语。
如：He tried to made himself understood.他努力让别人理解他自己。
I'll never get all this work finished.这么多的工作我怎么也干不完。
b.过去分词短语充当后置定语。
如：a movie called Toy Story叫玩具总动员的电影
a story written by Tom汤姆写的故事
c.过去分词充当时间状语。
如：Told that his mother was ill, Li Lei hurried home quickly.
得知母亲生病了，李蕾马上赶回了家。
d.充当条件状语。
如：Given a few minutes, I'll finish it.再给几分钟的时间，我就会完成了。
e.充当伴随状语。
如：She walked out of the house, followed by her little daughter.
她走出房子，后面跟着她的小女儿。
f.充当比较状语。
如：Compared with her achievements, her faultisn't so important.
与她的成就相比，她的缺点并不那么重要。
g.充当结果状语。
如：The cup fell down to the ground, broken.茶杯掉到了地上，碎了。
h.充当让步状语。
如：Explained many times, he still can't understand it.给他解释许多遍，他还是不懂。
