【中考誓师】策马扬鞭战百日 笃行不怠向未来

To rally the strength of both staff and pupils and ignite the students' passion for progress, our Junior School held a grand 100-Day Pledge Ceremony on the school playground. Members of the school leadership team, all Junior School staff and pupils, form tutors, and parents of Year 8 and 9 students gathered together to witness this solemn occasion, sounding the clarion call for the upcoming final push towards the secondary school entrance examinations.

The proceedings commenced with parent representatives entering in an orderly fashion, solemnly signing their names on the dedication board to offer blessings to the students. At the auspicious hour, stirring drumbeats resounded across the playground, igniting the enthusiasm of every attendee as the ceremony formally commenced.

During the speeches by representatives, every word rang out with conviction and sincerity. Wang Zhimin took the stage, urging all students to treasure these final hundred days, approaching their revision with unwavering resolve and a pragmatic attitude. He also encouraged all teachers to remain true to their original aspirations, dedicating themselves fully to safeguarding the students' journey towards their dreams.

Subsequently, parents of Year 8 student Zhang Zihan and Year 9 student Zhao Mengxu spoke on behalf of the parents, expressing gratitude to the school and their earnest hopes for their children, pledging full cooperation with the school to stand shoulder to shoulder with their children.

Following this, all Year 8 and Year 9 teachers took to the stage to solemnly swear an oath, offering blessings for the examinations and demonstrating their commitment to education through their vows. Representatives from Years 8 and 9 then took the stage in turn, declaring their names before raising their right fists in unison to deliver a resounding pledge. Each word carried immense weight, conveying their unwavering resolve to conquer the examinations.

The flag presentation and plaque unveiling ceremony elevated the event to its climax. Meng and Wang, alongside Directors Zhou, Meng, and Zhai, stepped forward to present flags to each form tutor. After receiving the flags, the form tutors turned and chanted their class slogans in succession. The resounding cries echoed throughout the campus, showcasing each class's cohesion and momentum for the final push. Following the slogans, Wang and Meng ascended the podium to jointly unveil the ‘100 Days to Victory’ plaque, marking the official commencement of our junior high school's intensive preparation for the examinations.

Finally, the thrilling ‘Passing Through the Champion's Gate’ ceremony commenced as scheduled. Graduating students, guided by their form tutors and parents, walked hand-in-hand along the red carpet. They proceeded along the Path of Success, stepped through the Champion's Gate, and upon reaching the entrance, leapt high to touch the sunflower emblem. This symbolised their aspiration to achieve top honours and claim the championship.

This 100-Day Pledge Assembly not only galvanised students' exam readiness but also forged a united front among teachers, students and parents. A hundred days of honing the blade; today we test its edge. Steadfast in action, we shall forge brilliance in June. With the concerted efforts of all staff and students, and the unwavering support of parents, we are confident our junior high students will seize their youth, strive with all their might, achieve outstanding results in June's examinations, and realise their aspirations!
