上周有位妈妈给我发私信，急得快哭了：
“孩子初三了，英语单选错得一塌糊涂。一套卷子15道题，能错七八个。老师说都是基础题，不该丢分。可孩子就是一做就错，怎么办？”
我回她一句：单选丢分，不是孩子不努力，是没掌握套路。
单项选择题，说白了就是“挖坑游戏”。出题老师挖坑，孩子往里跳。跳得多的，分就丢了；跳得少的，分就拿到了。
今天我把初中英语单选的所有坑，一次性给你讲清楚。文末还整理了40道历年中考易错题，全是干货，建议打印下来让孩子做一遍。
01 先搞明白：单选到底考什么？
很多孩子一做单选就懵，因为不知道考点在哪。
其实初中英语单选，考点就这些：
名词、动词、形容词、副词、代词、冠词、连词、介词、情态动词；时态、语态；词义辨析、语序、各种从句、交际用语。
说白了，就是把你初中三年学的所有知识点，揉碎了、打散了，塞进一道题里。
所以想做好单选，光靠背单词不够，还得掌握解题技巧。
02 15种解题技巧，照着做就能提分
技巧一：直接法
直接利用语法知识，通过题干信息找出答案。
例：--Will you come to the net bars with me？--Sorry．My mother always tells me ______ there．A．not go B．go C．not to go D．to go
考查tell sb．not to do sth．，直接选C。
技巧二：关键词法
找到题干中的关键词，答案就出来了。
例：--He hardly hurt himself in the accident，______ ？A．Doesn‘t he B．Didn’t he C．did he D．does he
关键词是hardly（否定词）和hurt（过去式）。否定词用肯定反问，过去式用did，所以选C。
技巧三：记准固定搭配
My cousin and I often ______ on Sundays.A. play football B. play the footballC. plays the football D. plays football
play football是固定搭配，球类前不加冠词。主语是复数，play不加s。选A。
技巧四：牢记动词固定用法
I like______ very much and I‘d like ______ with my friends this afternoon.A. swimming; to swim B. to swim; swimmingC. swimming; swimming D. swim; to swim
like doing sth.和would like to do sth.，选A。
技巧五：准确判断所需词形
Is the elephant from______？A. African B. Africa C. Asian D. Indian
from是介词，后面跟名词。四个选项中只有B是名词，选B。
技巧六：准确使用冠词
Wang Dan is ______ English teacher in ______ university.A. a; an B. an; an C. an; a D. a; a
English第一个音是元音，用an；university第一个音是辅音，用a。选C。
技巧七：类推法
如果没把握，用“如果A对，那么B也对”来排除。
例：--Who’s the man at the door？-- ______.A．He is a doctor B．He is a friend of mineC．He is a famous singer D．He is twenty
A和C都回答职业，如果A对C也对，所以都排除。D回答年龄。只有B是正确答案。
技巧八：准确使用介词
I don‘t watch TV ______ the evening， but I do it ______ Saturday evening.A. on; in B. on; on C. in; in D. in; on
in the evening，on Saturday evening，选D。
技巧九：根据句义选择连词
I bought my son a birthday present，______he liked it very much.A. or B. but C. and D. so
前后是递进关系，用and，选C。
技巧十：熟悉人称代词
______is my friend. ______name is Tom.A. She; Her B. Her; She C. He; His D. His; He
第一个空缺主语，用主格；第二个空缺定语，用形代。Tom是男孩，选C。
技巧十一：仔细分辨同义词
His______ are very fine.A. home B. house C. family D. room
四个词都有“家”的意思，但身体好的是家人，选C。
技巧十二：前后照应法
-- He isn‘t a teacher， is he？--______ . He works in a hospital．A．Yes，he is B．No，he isn‘t C．Yes，He isn’t D．No，he is
根据“他在医院工作”，他不是老师，所以选B。
技巧十三：排除法
The girl asked the teacher______ .A．what does the museum looks likeB．what did the museum look likeC．what the museum looks likeD．what the museum looked like
主句过去时，从句用过去时，排除A、C。B语序错误，选D。
技巧十四：就近原则
Neither she nor I ______there last week.A. was B. were C. am D. are
neither...nor...用就近原则，靠近I，时间last week，选A。
技巧十五：抓住关键句型
He hasn‘t got ______apples______bananas.A. some; or B. any; or C. some; and D. any; and
否定句用any，否定句中并列用or，选B。
03 避开这些思维定式，少丢一半分
有时候孩子做错题，不是不会，是掉进思维定式的坑里了。
坑一：上海比江苏的城市大
Shanghai is larger than ______ city in Jiangsu．A．any B．any other C．other D．one
很多孩子一看到比较级就想选any other。但上海不在江苏，所以不包含，选A。
坑二：a lot of的陷阱
There are a lot ______ apples in this basket than in that one．A．most B．more C．of D．much
看到a lot就想选of，但这是比较级，a lot修饰比较级，选B。
坑三：speak的误区
What did you ______ at the meeting yesterday？A．speak B．tell C．say D．talk
看到meeting就想选speak，但what作say的宾语，选C。
坑四：get on it还是get it on
The bus is coming．Let‘s______．A．get it on B．get it off C．get on it D．get off it
动词+副词短语，代词放中间；动词+介词短语，代词放后面。on/off是介词，选C。
坑五：a lot of的陷阱
I’d heard a lot ______ England．A．of B．about C．to D．for
a lot of是“许多”，a lot about是“关于……的许多”，根据句意选B。
坑六：must的否定回答
--Must I finish the work before five o‘clock？--No．You ______ finish it before eight．A．mustn‘t B．needn’t C．can‘t D．can
must的一般疑问句否定回答用needn’t。但这里No后面是句号，是两个句子，结合句意选D。
坑七：说英语用speak？
Can you______ it in English？A．speak B．say C．tell D．talk
看到English就想选speak，但it是say的宾语，选B。
坑八：there be的陷阱
There ______ a film tomorrow evening．A．will have B．have C．is going to be D．has
“有”受汉语影响选A，但要用there be句型，选C。
04 40道历年中考易错题，做完就开窍

单项选择题，说白了就是一场“扫雷游戏”。
孩子丢分，不是因为笨，是因为不知道雷在哪儿。把这40道易错题吃透，把15种解题技巧练熟，考试至少多拿10分。
10分在中考是什么概念？能甩掉几千人。
