An English Textbook Drama Show

Last Friday, a fantastic English textbook drama show was held on the playground of our sister school, Hope Middle School, with up to 300 teachers and students from the English clubs of the two schools taking part.

The drama show lasted two hours. The members of both clubs performed three short plays of traditional Chinese stories from our textbook, which reflected the good qualities of the Chinese people and our excellent traditional culture. Thanks to the great efforts of all performers and teachers, the 2-hour show was a great success. At the end of the show, all the people present stood up and cheered for their wonderful performance.

We all believe this activity provided a good chance for us to enjoy English plays, improving our English language skills as well as bringing the two schools closer.
