It’s OK to say no

Many of us teenagers are afraid to say no to people around us. We worry that we may make our friends disappointed or seem unfriendly. So we always agree to others’ requests, even when we are busy with our homework or feel tired.

In fact, it is totally OK to refuse others in a polite way. Saying no helps us protect our own time. It lets us focus on our study and the things that matter. True friends will understand our real situation.

Learning to say no is an important part of growth. Later, I will be polite but firm. I believe proper refusal makes our life easier and better.
