The Person I Admire Most
In our daily life, many people have an influence on us such as doctors, nurses, teachers, firefighters and more. Among all of them, I admire Yuan Longping most.
Yuan Longping is known as the “Father of Hybrid Rice”. He devoted his whole life to researching hybrid rice, helping to solve the food problem for millions of people around the world. He played an important part in reducing hunger.
His deeds encourage me to study hard. I want to get more knowledge like him. I hope to use what I’ve learnt to make contributions to our nation. I also want to face difficulties bravely, just as he overcame various challenges in scientific research. Though Yuan passed away, his spirit lives on forever.
