中考英语写作---人生经历(一)

The most valuable lesson I’ve ever learned

       The most valuable lesson I’ve ever learned was given by my elder brother Steve who helped me grow into a responsible person.

    Once when I returned in tears from a Saturday baseball game, it was Steve who spent some time asking me what happened. When I told him that my baseball had flown through a neighbor's window, breaking the glass with a crash, Steve encouraged me to confess to her. I did as what Steven told me. To my surprise, my neighbour praised me for being honest and responsible.

     This left me a deep impression and I’ve been taught to face the results of my behavior and shoulder the responsibility from then on.

   本篇文章共114词，在中考写作中，是一个很理想的篇幅长度，太长或太短都不好。太短会让阅卷老师觉得词数不够；太长会让阅卷老师觉得太过啰嗦。因此，100-120这是一个很理想的区间。
