我把人教版高中英语7本书里的修辞手法、谚语、俚语、习语全部整理了一遍。
这些例句全部来自课本，是文学表达必备，也是读后续写拿高分的关键。
今天一次性分享出来，方便学生直接背诵。
一、夸张（Hyperbole / Exaggeration）
课本例句：
The noise (they make) could wake the dead.
翻译： 那噪音能把死人吵醒。
课本例句：
1. She wept oceans of tears.
翻译：她泪流成河。
2. The money was spent in the blink of an eye.
翻译：钱一眨眼就花光了。
3. I have given my last ounce of strength to my work.
翻译：我把最后一丝力气都献给了工作。
4. Mountains of rubbish have been thrown there.
翻译：成堆的垃圾被扔在那里。
二、矛盾修饰法（Oxymoron）
课本例句：
A successful failure
翻译： 成功的失败    之前高考总复习专项讲过 可以翻阅 
课本例句：
1. No light, but rather darkness visible.
翻译：没有光，只有可见的黑暗。
2. The state of this house is a cheerless welcome.
翻译：这房子的状态是一种令人沮丧的欢迎。
三、比喻（Metaphor / 令人惊叹）
课本短语：
take sb's breath away
翻译： 令人叹为观止
课本例句：
When the train arrived at the station, they took a taxi to Mount Song, where the specific scene literally took their breath away (with its exceptional beauty).
翻译： 火车到站后，他们打车去了嵩山，那里的景色美得让他们叹为观止。
课本例句：
Moved by the music, he said, "It was like seeing color for the first time."
翻译： 被音乐感动，他说：“这就像第一次看见色彩。”
四、明喻（Simile）
特点： 用 like / as 连接，形式上相似
课本例句：
Her eyes twinkled like stars.
翻译： 她的眼睛像星星一样闪烁。
五、暗喻（Metaphor）
特点： 不用 like / as，直接说“A 是 B”
课本例句：
All the world is a stage. —— Shakespeare
翻译： 世界是一个舞台。—— 莎士比亚
备注： 阅读理解选项里也会考。4个选项都用暗喻，让你去和文章内容匹配。这个时候一定要去考虑它抽象出来的意思，而不是看文字表面的意思
选项示例：
A. A break in the clouds.
翻译：乌云裂开的一道缝。
暗喻含义：希望。对应“作者没有放弃希望”的文章。
B. A light in the darkness.
翻译：黑暗中的一束光。
暗喻含义：困境中的慰藉或指引。
C. A bridge over troubled water.
翻译：浊水之上的一座桥。
暗喻含义：在艰难时刻给予支撑的人或事物。
D. A seed in the winter.
翻译：冬日里的一颗种子。
暗喻含义：潜藏的希望或等待苏醒的力量。
六、引用（Quote）
课本例句：
As the old saying goes, "A friend in need is a friend indeed."
翻译： 正如俗话所说：“患难见真情。”
七、拟人（Personification）
特点： 把事物当作人来写
课本例句：
A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on his shoes. —— Mark Twain
翻译： 谎言能跑遍半个世界，而真相还在穿鞋。—— 马克·吐温
八、谚语（Proverbs）
1. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
翻译：患难见真情。
2. Actions speak louder than words.
翻译：行动胜于言辞。
3. Where there is a will, there is a way.
翻译：有志者事竟成。
4. Practice makes perfect.
翻译：熟能生巧。
5. All that glitters is not gold.
