that指代上一段说的转型。

discontinuing部分是分词后置定语，修饰netflix。
mailing n. 邮件；邮寄。
streaming n. 串流；流式传播
③“It was seen as a blunder,” he said.他说，这一举措最初被看作是一个愚蠢的错误。
blunder n. 错误；大失误。
④The move turned out to be foresighted.但是，最终证明这是有先见之明的。
turn out to：被发现是....。
foresee vt. 预见；预知 —— foresight n. 先见；先见之明 —— foresighted adj. 深谋远虑的；有先见之明的
forestall vt. 垄断；预先阻止
foreshadow vt. 预示；成为...的前兆。
⑤And if Peretti were in charge at the Times?那么，如果，佩雷蒂执掌《纽约时报》会怎样呢？
in charge 主管；负责；在....的掌管之下，如果要跟宾语，就加介词of，in charge of 掌管......。

pick vt. 挑选；采摘；拿走；挑衅。
⑦“I would raise prices and make it into more of a legacy product.”我会提高价格，把它经营得更像一个老产品。
legacy n. 遗产。
more of：更多的；更大程度上的
总结：第五段是说，确实要转型，改变有时是值得的。如何转型呢？即：把《纽约时报》的纸质版做成一个老产品（像个古董一样的东西），提高价格。
