记忆方法 · 合成词记忆

news（新闻）+ paper（纸）→ 印着新闻的纸 → 报纸。凡是“news + 名词”的合成词都能这么拆： newspaper （报纸）、newsstand（报摊）。它可是 可数名词 ：一份 a newspaper，两份 two newspapers，别写成 two newspaper。

print 与 press（按、压）同源——印刷就是把字“压”到纸上。词族一条龙： print v. 印刷 → printer n. 打印机 → printing n. 印刷（术）。高频短语 print out（打印出来）一定要记牢，代词作宾语时只能放中间：print them out。
