初二英语比较级，8 个最容易错的点

孩子升到初二，英语第一次明显掉分，很多都掉在比较级上。这个语法看着简单，但考点特别碎，一错就是一串。

我把班上学生最常错的 8 个地方整理在下面，家长可以直接对照孩子的卷子看。

① 双写末尾辅音
重读闭音节要双写：big→bigger，hot→hotter，thin→thinner。
孩子最常漏的是 thin、fat、slim 这一类。

② 不规则变化必须背熟
good / well→better，bad / badly / ill→worse，many / much→more，little→less，far→farther / further。
这几个是硬记的，没有规律可推。

③ 辅音字母 + y 结尾，变 y 为 i 再加 er
happy→happier，easy→easier，early→earlier。
但 shy 现在多写作 shyer，这是个例外。

④ 多音节词用 more，不加 er
more beautiful，more careful，more outgoing。
不能写成 beautifuler。

⑤ 比较级前面不能用 very
错：very better。
对：much better，far better，a little better，even better。
"very"只能修饰原级，这是考得最多的一条。

⑥ 比较的对象要一致
错：My hair is longer than her.（拿头发和人比）
对：My hair is longer than hers.

⑦ as...as 中间用原级
as tall as，不是 as taller as。
否定可以写 not as tall as 或 not so tall as。

⑧ "比较级 + than any other + 单数名词"表示最高级
He is taller than any other student in his class.
意思等于 He is the tallest in his class.

再补一个容易忽略的：elder 和 older 不一样。elder 只用于家人之间的长幼，而且不能和 than 连用。
