Requiring university students to take part in at least one research project is a proposal worth careful consideration. In my view, while it offers tangible educational benefits, (实实在在的教育价值) its practicality is limited.
On the one hand, such a requirement is necessary to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and academic curiosity.
