Writing Section
In the writing section, you will answer 12 questions to demonstrate how well you can write in English. There are three types of tasks.
Build a Sentence
Move the words in the boxes to create grammatical sentences.
A clock will show you how much time you have to complete this task.
Write an Email
You will read some information and use the information to write an email.
You will have 7 minutes to write the email.
You recently attended a concert by your favorite band at a local venue. You want to thank the event organizer, Mr. Harris, for arranging the event and provide feedback on what you enjoyed most.
Write an email to Mr. Harris. In your email, do the following:
Thank him for organizing the concert.
Describe what you enjoyed most about the event.
Suggest any improvements for future events.
Write as much as you can and in complete sentences.

Your professor is teaching a class on philosophy. Write a post responding to the professor's question.

We've been discussing the concept of free will in philosophy. Some argue that free will is an illusion and that our choices are determined by factors beyond our control, such as genetics and environment. Others believe that individuals have the ability to make free choices regardless of external influences. What are your thoughts on the existence of free will?

I believe that free will is an illusion. Our decisions are heavily influenced by factors such as our upbringing, social environment, and biological predispositions. These factors shape our choices, leaving little room for true free will.
Claire
I think individuals have the ability to make free choices. While external influences play a role, people can still exercise their own judgment and take actions that are not predetermined by their circumstances. Free will enables personal responsibility and autonomy.
