Directions:Suppose the university newspaper is inviting submissions from the students for its coming edition on future applications of robots on campus. You are now to write an essay for submission. You will have 30 minutes to write the essay. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

The promising applications can be divided into three areas. First and foremost, autonomous delivery robots will revolutionize campus logistics. Not only will they save us hours of waiting, but they will also free us to focus on what truly matters. In addition, AI tutoring robots will offer personalized help. Struggling with difficult problems at midnight, a tired student can turn to a robot tutor for guidance. Last but not least, smart patrol robots will enhance campus safety, which is crucial given students’ concern for security at night.
In conclusion, the future applications of robots on campus, spanning delivery services, academic support and security patrols, promise to create a better learning environment. 作文高分秘诀
以下从篇章、段落、句式、词汇四个层面聊聊如何写出高分作文。
一、篇章层面
我一般都是要求学生写三段。第一段为导入段，第二段为主体段，第三段为结尾段。大约写150字左右即可。
二、段落层面
第一段：导入段。第一段可以写两句话：第一句话阐述背景、第二句话阐述重要性。
第二段：主体段。第二段第一句话我通常写主题句。然后分三个小论点来具体阐述。这三个小论点要用衔接手段来衔接。比如，“First and foremost,...In addition,...Last but not least,...”等等。一定要有衔接手段。每个小论点后面最好有一句话来支撑该论点，做到论据充实（根据具体情况，有时也可不用）。
第三段：结尾段。第一句话我会用上表示总结的短语，例如，To sum up, In short, In conclusion等等，然后我喜欢用并列结构呼应一下第二段中提到的三个小论点，比如本文我用了spanning delivery services, academic support and security patrols呼应第二段提到的三个要点。第二句以建议来结尾。有时，我也会重申一下重要性来结尾。
三、句式层面
一定要做到句式结构丰富。
我通常建议大家作文字数160字以内就可以，为什么我不建议你在字数上较劲非写到180字呢？是因为我想让你在句式上下功夫。
我希望你的句式结构丰富，能够彰显你的英语功底，让老师一眼就可以看到你驾驭语言的能力不错。你的句式里最好要包含动名词结构作主语（或者动名词结构作宾语）、分词短语作状语、介词短语作状语等，也包括主语从句、表语从句、定语从句、让步状语从句等，也包括一些高分句式，比如not only... but also...句式、倒装结构句式、“越来......越......”比较级句式等。以上句式不一定全包括，但是要做到句式结构丰富，能够显示自己的语言功底不错。
四、词汇层面
一定要有闪光词汇。什么是闪光词汇？就是老师一眼就能注意到，看了之后，觉得你水平很高，词汇量很高，你用词贴切，愿意给你高分的那样的词汇。要多用一些四级高频词汇，要可圈可点，但是又不能晦涩难懂。
