There are a lot of very interesting and unusual sports in the world. One of the most unique sports is cheese-rolling.

Every year, there is a huge cheese-rolling event at a place called Cooper’s Hill in England. The idea of cheese-rolling is strange, but it’s also very simple. The racers stand at the top of a hill. Someone pushes a round piece of cheese down the hill. The cheese rolls very fast. All of the people chase the cheese down the hill. The person who catches the cheese is the winner.

The cheese is round, and it weighs about five kilograms. When the cheese rolls down the hill, it can travel more than 70 kilometers per hour. Every year, an expert makes the cheese. She is the only person who is allowed to make it.

As you can probably guess, this is a very dangerous sport. After all, people are running down a hill as fast as they can. People often fall down and hurt themselves. In fact, it’s so dangerous that there are ambulances waiting at the bottom of the hill. Every year, at least one person goes to the hospital. In some years, it’s worse. In 1993, 15 people were injured. Four of those injuries were very serious.

This sport is so dangerous that in the past, the government tried to stop it. The police also warned people about the sport’s dangers. However, every year people ignore the warning and go to the event. Dozens of people race in the event, and hundreds of people come to watch. Some people even come from other countries to chase the cheese.

If you get the chance to visit England, you should go and watch the cheese-rolling event. You can also join the race, but you should remember that it’s very dangerous. If you win the race, you won’t get any money. The only prize you will get is the cheese.
