My Dream Job
My name is Li Hua. Everyone has a dream job, and so do I. When I grow up, I want to be a teacher.

My Favorite Hobby
Everyone has hobbies, and they make our life colorful. My hobby is singing and reading books.

I often sing along with my favorite English songs, and I even join the school music club to learn new skills. Besides singing, I also enjoy reading books. I’m Li Hua, from Class 1, Grade 9.
In my opinion, the Forbidden City is the most important cultural symbol of Beijing. It is a huge palace complex with red walls and golden roofs, standing in the heart of Beijing for hundreds of years. It was once the home of emperors and now it shows the great wisdom of ancient Chinese people.
I think it can be a symbol because it is a traditional treasure of China. It not only keeps the history of Beijing, but also shows the beauty of Chinese architecture. I love walking in it, as every corner tells a story of the past. For me, it is the heart of Beijing culture and a must-see place for anyone who wants to learn about Chinese history. I believe the Forbidden City will always be a shining symbol of our culture.

High Efficiency Is Important for a Busy Student
High efficiency is important for a busy student. I’m Li Hua, and I have found some useful ways to improve my efficiency in study and life.
First, I always make a plan at the beginning of each day. I list all my tasks clearly and arrange them in order of importance. This helps me know what to do next and avoid wasting time. Second, when I study, I always pay all my attention to the work. I put away my phone and other distractions, so I can finish tasks faster. Besides, I learn to make use of my free time. For example, I listen to English podcasts (英语播客） on my way to school instead of just sitting there doing nothing.
With these small changes, I have made great progress. I no longer stay up late to finish homework, and I even have more time to do things I love, like reading and playing basketball. I believe good planning and focus are the keys to being efficient. I will keep using these methods to make my life better.

Doing Housework Survey
I did a survey on my classmates doing housework. The pie chart shows the result of my survey on how often 40 students in my class do housework.
From the chart, I learn that only 6 students usually help with housework, 32 students sometimes do chores, and 2 students almost never do any housework. This means most of us do not spend much time on housework.
To change this, I have some suggestions for my classmates. First, we should tidy up our own bedrooms every day, such as making the bed or putting away our school things. It is not only helpful to our parents, but also helps us learn to be responsible. Second, we can start with small chores like washing dishes or taking out the trash. Doing housework can teach us many useful skills and make us more independent.

Be a Good Team Member
