Jim Carrey has become one of the most well-known faces in the world. And it is because of his face that he has made such achievements.
Jim Carrey was born in a working class family, and life was poor when he was young. While in his teens, he had to take a job as a doorkeeper when his father lost his job, and finally he dropped out of school. At that time, he developed his sense of humour to help him deal with anger in the world.
He was often alone. He said he didn’t have any friends because he didn’t want any. At the age of 15, he started performing at a comedy club. Later he moved to Los Angeles and there he got the attention from a famous comedian, and his life started to change.
Jim Carrey got a good chance in 1990 when he played a role on the new comedy show, In Living Color. He broke into films in 1994. It was the year of Funny Face.
He has come a long way from his unhappy childhood. In fact, he seems to be having a second childhood now. The future looks good for him. He has developed a large crowd of fans and he also has proved his ability to get through a storm and come out on top, which is important for any person.

Nowadays, companies are competing to be the first to bring the self-driving cars to the market. We believe they will be the future of driving. However, carmakers need to solve one problem first: How driverless cars communicate with passers-by （行人），bikers and other drivers.
The problem of self-driving cars
Most drivers today use body language to show their purposes. But self-driving cars aren’t able to do that.
The method of solving the problem
The team is testing a method that uses light signals to show what self-driving cars are doing. The light signals can tell passers-by the self-driving are doing things with the different purposes.
Having a test
When a driver wears a special suit that looks exactly like a car seat, it appears to people that the car is really driverless.
The test result and data（数据）
The team then successfully got more than 1, 500 hours of data after about 2, 900 kilometers of “self-driving” through busy cities. The data recorded how people communicated with a driverless car. Ford says it plans to share the data with 11 other companies. The company wants to work with other carmakers to design a signaling system that would be understood by all.
