record n. 记录
in a row：连续地；一排地

这是两句话，用and连接的
its指the theatre指莎士比亚纪念剧院，即：这个剧院有1431个座位。
occupy vt. 占领；占据（这里是说，94%的座位都有人，就是基本坐满了的意思）
all year long：全年
【逻辑梳理】这里说当地人不理解，为什么该剧团还需要补贴，因为，人们认为，他们的上座率已经很高了，有人看，就有钱，还需要啥补贴呢？下一句就是答案。这里一下子说剧院，一下子说剧团，可能会有人有点懵，剧院就是座房子，就是剧团在里面演出的地方，所以，剧院上座率高 = 剧团收入高。
④The reason, of course, is that costs have rocketed and ticket prices have stayed low.当然，真正的原因是，运营成本飙升，而票价依然保持在低水平。
of course可以提到句首
that后面是表语从句，是两个句子，即：两个原因：costs have rocketed and ticket prices have stayed low
rocket vt. 猛增；n. 火箭
ticket n. 票
总结：第五段是说，皇家莎士比亚剧团需要补贴，但是，当地人就会疑惑，因为，剧院的上座率已经很高了，他们应该有钱，还要啥补贴。但是，真正的原因是，运营成本猛增，票价还很低，所以，就算上座率高，还是不挣钱。
