表语从句，就是在句子中充当表语的从句，紧跟在系动词后面，用来解释、说明主语是什么、怎么样。

二、中考必考引导词（必背！）
引导词是表语从句的核心考点，中考只考这 5 类，分清用法不踩坑！
1.that：无实际意思，中考中绝对不能省略
（和宾语从句最大区别！）
例句：My hope is that I can pass the exam.

2.whether：表示 “是否”，
表语从句只能用 whether，不能用 if（高频易错点）
例句：The problem is

whether we can get there on time.
3.what/who/which（连接代词）：
在从句中充当主语、宾语，有实际含义
例句：This is what I need.

4.when/where/why/how（连接副词）：
在从句中作状语，表时间、地点、原因、方式
例句：That’s why he was late for school.

5.as if：表示 “好像”，中考常考基础用法
例句：She looks as if she is tired.

三、中考 3 大黄金规则（满分关键）
1. 语序：必须用陈述语序！
不管引导词是什么，从句都要遵循
主语 + 谓语的顺序，绝对不能用疑问语序！
❌ 错误：The question is what are you doing.
✅ 正确：The question is what you are doing.
❌ 错误：The question is what are you doing.
✅ 正确：The question is what you are doing.
2. 时态：主过从过，真理不变
主句是一般现在时，从句时态根据句意确定
主句是一般过去时，从句用相应过去时态
从句是客观真理、科学事实，永远用一般现在时
例句：

3. 经典句型：The reason why…is that…
这个句型中考年年考，
只能用 that，不能用 because！
❌ 错误：The reason why he cried is because he failed.
