很多同学写不好大作文，一个重要原因是还没想清楚逻辑就匆忙下笔，一旦逻辑断裂，再高级的词汇也只是表面堆砌。今天用一道真题，带大家把思路一步一步拆开，看看高分作文到底是怎么“想出来”的。
真题题目：
Some people believe that work is the most important thing in a person’s life and without career success life will become meaningless. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
有些同学看到这类题，第一反应是“选边站+列两点理由”，或者直接套用让步结构。但问题在于，论证中主题段的理由往往停留在表层，论证缺乏推进，前后之间没有形成清晰的逻辑链，自然也就很难构成完整的论证闭环，coherence因此被拉低。
以这道真题为例，我们采取让步段结构，那么先思考一下第一个主题段的正方论证：
为什么有人会认为 work = life meaning？
顺着这个问题，可以推导出第一条逻辑链：
work → material rewards → financial security
→ the ability to pursue personal goals / maintain a comfortable lifestyle / plan for the future
所以接下来要继续问：
Apart from money, what else does work provide?
因为对有些人来说，工作的意义不仅在于“维持生存”，更在于“创造价值”。在这一过程中，人们会不断设定目标、投入努力，并在完成任务后获得反馈与认可，这种持续的正向循环会强化个体的成就感和存在感。在这样的机制下，工作的意义逐渐从“外在回报”转向“内在满足”。也正因如此，目标感与成就感会进一步沉淀为更深层的心理体验，例如对人生方向的确认，以及对自我价值的认同。这种持续的目标感和成就感，对很多人来说，正是人生意义的重要来源。
这时，第二条更深层的逻辑就出现了：
work → goals→ effort → achievement→ a sense of purpose / self-worth / identity
基于这两条逻辑链，正方段就可以自然展开，而不是生硬地“编理由”：
Admittedly, work can be a major source of meaning in life, particularly for individuals who associate personal value with achievement and productivity. A successful career not only brings financial security, enabling people to pursue personal goals and maintain a comfortable lifestyle, but also provides a strong sense of purpose. Through setting goals, overcoming challenges and achieving tangible results, individuals develop a sense of self-worth and identity. 接下来是很多同学最容易卡住的部分：反方论证。
常见写法是：
some people don’t like working
但这里其实有一个隐含前提——你默认“所有人都有选择工作的条件”。这恰恰是问题所在。
What about those who are unable to work?
Is it fair to judge their lives by career success?
当问题这样被重构后，逻辑就从“个人偏好”上升到了“社会结构”。
于是反方可以这样展开：
unequal access to education
→ limited employment opportunities
→ restricted career outcomes
进一步延伸到：
systemic inequality / discrimination
→ lower employment rates among certain groups
在这样的现实背景下，如果仍然用career success去定义人生意义，本质上是在忽视社会不平等。
也就是说，问题的核心不再是“喜不喜欢工作”，而是：有没有实现career success的机会。这一层逻辑一旦打开，文章的深度会立刻拉开差距。
因此反方段可以这样表达：
However, it is overly simplistic to define life meaning solely in terms of career success, as not everyone has equal access to employment opportunities. In reality, structural factors such as unequal access to education and systemic discrimination can significantly limit an individual’s career prospects. Under such circumstances, judging the value of a person’s life by professional achievement alone would be unfair, as it ignores the broader social context. 可以看到，这里并不是简单“反驳观点”，而是在提升讨论维度。最后的结论只需要简单收束：承认工作的意义，但否认其唯一性。高分作文的关键，从来不是词汇有多高级，而在于你是否能把一个看似简单的问题，一层一层论证清楚。
