【真题】An Unforgettable Day
Last Sunday was an unforgettable day for me. It was my mother's birthday, and I decided to do something special for her.
In the morning, I got up early and went to the kitchen. I wanted to make breakfast for my mother. I cooked two eggs and some noodles. Although they didn't look very nice, I put them on a plate carefully. Then I made a card with the words "Happy Birthday, Mom!" on it.
When my mother got up and saw the breakfast and the card, she was very surprised. Tears filled her eyes. She hugged me and said, "Thank you, my dear. This is the best birthday gift I've ever received."
I felt so happy and proud at that moment. This day taught me that love is not about how much money you spend, but how much heart you put in. I will never forget this special day.
