5、Good neighbours
例一：
My neighbours are kind and helpful. They have different skills and often help us with all kinds of problems. Usually there is a "helping hands" meeting at the weekend. People go there when they need help with their problems. Computer engineers help people fix their computers. Students can get help with their homework. Volunteers also help the old people.We are lucky to live in a neighbourhood like that.
例二：
Good neighbors are very important to have. They make our community friendly and happy. My neighbors are Mr and Mrs Wang. They are very kind and always help us when we need it. On weekends, they sometimes invite us over for tea and snacks. It is a fun time to talk and get to know each other better. When we go on vacation, they watch our dog and take him for walks. I feel lucky to have such wonderful neighbors in my neighborhood.
6、My favourite pet
例一：
My favourite pet is the cat poppy. She has long, grey fur and white paws. Her eyes are green and she is quite small. She likes sleeping in a basket. Sometimes she plays with ball. I like to brush her fur and she enjoys it very much. Poppy is my best friend. She never worries because we take good care of her.
例二：
My favorite pet is my dog, Buddy. He is a small, brown puppy. I got buddy when he was just a few weeks old and he has been my best friend ever since. Every morning I feed him breakfast and take him for a walk. He is very naughty and likes to bark at squirrels and chase his tail. I love taking care of him and teaching him new tricks, like sitting and rolling over. Having buddy makes me happy and I cannot imagine life without him. He is more than just a pet. He is part of my family.
7、My best friend
例一：
Kate is my best friend. She is tall and slim. Her bright eyes make her look really pretty. She always has a smile on her face and looks happy. She is very patient and likes to help people. When I feel bored, she will talk to me and tell me interesting stories. Kate would like to be a teacher when she grows up. I think she will make an excellent teacher.
例二：
My best friend is Li Hua. We met on the first day of school and became friends right away. Li Hua is really funny and always makes me laugh. We love to play soccer after school and have a lot of fun scoring goals. Li Hua is also very good at video games, and we sometimes play together on weekends. He shares his snacks with me, and I share mine with him. We like to ride our bikes in the park and explore new places. When I have a problem, Li Hua is always there to help me. I feel so lucky to have such a caring and fun friend.
8、My plan for a day out
例一：
Here is my plan for a day out on Saturday. First, I will meet my friends at eight a.m. at Sunshine Underground Station. It will take us about half an hour to get to Tian’anmen Square. Then we will go to the Palace Museum on foot. After lunch, we will walk to Beihai Park and will be there for about two hours. In the park, we can visit the garden and row boats. At five p.m., we will leave the park and go back home. Would you like to join us?
例二：
This weekend I am planning a fun day out with my family. First, we will have breakfast together at a coffee shop near our home. After that, we will go to the park where we can walk, play and enjoy the fresh air. For lunch, we will bring a picnic with sandwiches, fruits and snacks. In the afternoon, we plan to visit a museum to learn new and interesting things. Later, we might treat ourselves to some ice cream at a nearby shop. By the end of the day, we will go home feeling happy and relaxed. I am really looking forward to spending this special day with my family.
