Overall, it is manifestly evident that the housing market experienced a universal upward trajectoryacross almost all locations, with Sydney consistently commanding the highest premiums. Notably, while apartment rents generally mirrored the housing trend, Perth stood out as the sole exception, exhibiting total stagnation in this sector.

Darwin, despite starting significantly lower at 430 dollars, underwent a far more aggressive surge, ultimately matching Sydney's peak. Conversely, the remaining two cities remained comparatively affordable. Hobart registered a solid increase from 300 to 380 dollars, whereas Perth experienced a more modest uptick, edging up from 280 to 320 dollars.

The increments in Hobart and Darwin were identically marginal, with both sectors edging up by exactly 20 dollars to settle at 430 and 270 dollars respectively. Most strikingly, Perth broke the broader upward trend entirely; its apartment rent refused to budge from 300 dollars in either year, even though its housing rent had risen.
